Every one for sure has a favorite place that they like. My favorite place is Ximen-ding. Ximen-ding locate in northeast Wanhua District , Taipei City , the area is the most important and internationalized consumer business district in Taipei's West District.
Ximen-ding is named after the administrative division of the Japanese occupation, Ximen-ding, which is about Ximenli around Chengdu Road today. Today's Ximen-ding is more extensive. Ximen-ding is name after West Gate of Taipei City. In the era of the Japanese rule , Ximen-ding was originally a desolate place. Later , the Japanese decided to follow the Asakusa area in Tokyo and set up a leisure business district.
When you go to Ximen-ding , you will see a lot of store there. There is a store I like very much in Ximen-ding , it called Sophisca. Sophisca is a store that sells a lot of candies. The candies in Sophisca are really special , and it is really different with other candies that you bought outside in the other store. In 1997 , the first professional candy store in Taiwan was born , it is called Sophisca. That store insisting on the special tastes and styles , thousands of interesting candy , marshmallow , lollipop , chocolate , soft candy , and others. It is an unique candy store in the Taiwan market.
There is a lot special candy that they sell. Lipstick chocolate is really special. It likes lipstick but that really lipstick can not eat , but you can eat this lipstick , it tastes like chocolate , and it has a lot of flavor , too.
Ximen-ding this place has a lot of store that you can buy things. There is always a lot of people go there. Foreigners go there , too. When you have time you can go to the store over there. It is a really good place. When you go there , you will know why I said it is a good place.
